Feel Secret
RÍO CUARTO · COSTA RICA
A place to come back to
Nature Homes is a collection of private country houses made for slowing down and being fully present. A whole house to yourself, surrounded by nature, with the freedom to explore the day your way and return to a place that feels calm and entirely yours.
Created to bring you closer to nature, local life, and a slower way of discovering Costa Rica.
The Costa Rica few travelers ever find.
Close to the volcanic world of Poás, Río Cuarto feels like one of those rare places the country has kept quietly to itself. Laguna de Hule and Laguna de Río Cuarto rest in ancient volcanic craters, joined by a scenic corridor of forest and water. Beyond them, the landscape keeps unfolding into remarkable waterfalls, trails, farms and small towns. This is a place where nature is still the main event and discovery still feels personal. From Nature Homes, you are perfectly placed to explore Río Cuarto, Bajos del Toro and Sarapiquí — and to experience a side of Costa Rica that still feels like a gift to find.

Nature Homes goes beyond recommending places. We bring together local gastronomy, wellness and adventure, and help coordinate the details so your time here feels easy, personal and genuinely connected to the region.
ADVENTURE
Lagoons, rivers, trails, waterfalls and forest experiences with trusted local partners.
WELLNESS
Massage, yoga, thermal waters and quiet experiences centered around rest and presence.
GASTRONOMY
Local flavors, private dining and tables that tell the story of the region.
The sound that stays with you
A small river of clean water crosses the property, just below the houses. Five of the eight have it in view, all eight reach it, and three wooden decks look straight out over the water. It forms low pools with little current that you can step into, with children too. Birds are a common sight around it. What guests remember most is the sound: from the terrace and as they fall asleep.
Hule River Trail
Further up from the houses, about a kilometre across the pasture, a private trail enters the forest and leads down to the river. Its water rises on the slopes of the Hule Lagoon crater and runs down the mountain, forming natural pools where you can swim, depending on the season. We are finishing the access paths, and it opens this season.
